Installation

Install Nebflow — desktop apps for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Nebflow ships as a self-contained desktop app — a .dmg (macOS) / .msi (Windows) / .deb (Linux) with an embedded runtime. No Java installation needed.

Pick the download for your platform on the home page.

Desktop

macOS

  1. Download Nebflow-<version>-arm64.dmg (Apple Silicon) or Nebflow-<version>-x64.dmg (Intel) from the home page
  2. Open the .dmg and drag Nebflow into Applications
  3. First launch — the app is ad-hoc signed but not notarized, so macOS shows "cannot verify the developer":
    • macOS 15 Sequoia and later: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway (the Control-click bypass was removed in Sequoia)
    • macOS 14 Sonoma and earlier: right-click the app → Open → confirm
  4. The gateway starts and your browser opens localhost:8080

Windows

  1. Download Nebflow-<version>-x64.msi from the home page
  2. Double-click to install (Start-menu shortcut included)
  3. SmartScreen may warn about an unknown publisher — choose More info → Run anyway (unsigned open-source installer)
  4. The gateway starts and your browser opens localhost:8080

Linux

  1. Download Nebflow-<version>-amd64.deb from the home page
  2. Install with your package manager, or double-click the .deb
  3. Launch Nebflow from your applications menu

Verify Installation

Launch the app — your browser opens localhost:8080.
